Happy Earth Day!
So as y'all may or may not know, April 22nd is important on two levels. Firstly, today we look at the incredible gift that is Planet Earth and just drink it in. If you don't have the time to go on a hike or the like, simply look out the window during class for a little longer than usual. The second level is of self evaluation. To what extent am I being ecologically responsible? For example, Earth Day might be when you finally invest in that Brita and that Nalgene instead of buying up more and more bottled water. Maybe today you'll take your bike to the store instead of your car. How you personally want to take care of the World is according to your own strengths and loves but it is something to take into consideration, not just for us but for our children. As the late Charles Schultz said through the medium of "Peanuts", "The planting of a tree shows faith in the future."
